Day 8:
Gotta love Mondays!
Today was great.. started out with a trip to Whole Foods in Greenville with my sister.
SHOUT OUT TO CHELS: Thanks for the ride boo!!
"Dear Columbia,
It's time that you opened a Whole Food's.
Sincerely,
A mom who could use the extra time!"
We ate lunch at WF's and they have pretty much anything and everything you could imagine... Sushi, a Salad & Hot Bar, Pizza, Hamburgers/Veggieburgers made to order, Soups, Gelato, Fresh Coffee, shall I go on?!
In the picture above I had a salad with some peppers and marinated garlic cloves along with some broccoli salad and tofu.
And Mara Mara (below) had some sweet potatoes and bananas :) I told her to smile..and this is what I got.
Today's Topic: High-Vibrational Substances
I am going to share Natalia's list of high-vibration substances with you from her book Raw Food Life Force Energy
First off, before going on.. one must understand what "vibrational" means. Here is an exert from her book:
"Everything that exists, be natural or synthetic, has a vibration, an electromagnetic charge, and a resulting field. The earth itself, the moon, trees, animals, even your dining room table, all have a specific vibratory pulse that not only affects their own being, but the energy of those around them. Things that have a lot of Life Force Energy vibrate at a much more rapid rate than things that have very little Life Force Energy."
-Natalia Rose, Raw Food Life Force Energy
she goes on to say...
"If we fill our high-vibration body with low Life Force Energy substances, our natural vibration will slow down, effectively distorting and slowing the human energy pulse."
-Natalia Rose, Raw Food Life Force Energy
In Short:
Dead Food = Low Energy
Live Food= High Energy
From highest to lowest vibrations:
Highest Harmoniously Vibrating Substances
Fresh air and pure, clean water
Freshly extracted juices made from the highest-quality raw fruits and vegetables
Organic sun-ripened raw fresh fruit (preferably but not exclusively organic)
Raw green vegetable life, including sea vegetation
Raw vegetables of all kinds, grown in nutritionally balanced soil
Raw honey
Medium Harmoniously Vibrationg Foods
Cooked vegetables, including root vegetables
Raw organic nuts and seeds
Raw organic goat or sheep dairy products
Raw sprouted grains
Organic unsweetened dried fruits
Stevia, pure maple syrup, agave nectar, raw cane sugar
Low Harmoniously Vibrating Foods (perfectly acceptabe through various stages of transition and helpful for many as staples for the long term)
Cooked sprouted-grain products
Cooked grains
Other raw, organic dairy products (such as raw cow and buffalo dairy)
Free-range eggs
Organic, wild fish
Raw oils (cold or stone pressed)
Interim Foods (while these items don't have the ideal harmonious vibrations or levels of Life Force Energy, they can be helpful as one transitions from a more common diet in this eating lifestyle)
Whole-grain products
Organic butter and cream (always choose butter over margarine or cooked oils; organic butter and cream are harmless in small amounts)
Organic nonraw cheeses
Free range, grass fed meats
Wine (fine in moderate amounts, as in one to two glasses a day, but not beneficial as commonly believed)
Inharmoniously Vibrating Foods and Elements (these have the most deleterious effects on the human physical/energy body)
Ordinary pasteurized cow milk, yogurt, and cheese
Infant formulas
Cigarrettes
Hard liquor
Processed foods and synthetic ingredients
Mainstream animal fleshes (fish is the least detrimental flesh, followed by game, lamb, chicken, cow meat, and pork)
Pharmaceutical drugs
Technological radiation
X-ray radiation

Dinner
Mixed greens, carrots, cucumber, green and red onions.
Above are the ingredients used to make the dressing for the salad.
*It's important to eat your greens first because it helps support digestion for the rest of your meal.
I made Natalia's recipe for her Portobello Melts:
- Portobello mushrooms: stemmed and left whole
- Sea salt and pepper for taste
- Pasta sauce (she uses a tomato-basil sauce, I just used the left over zucchini marinara from the other night)
- 4 ounces of raw cheddar style goat cheese (my goat cheese was not raw or cheddar flavored..wish it was tho!)
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil or oregano
Heat 1/4 cup water in a frying pan and add mushrooms with salt and pepper. Cook mushrooms through until juicy (about 5 minutes).
Place them on a plate and cover with pasta cauce and cheese.
Top with basil or oregano.
Voila!
What a big disappointment!
Not taking the time to READ THE LABEL I grabbed this chocolate.. thinking "Great, it's 74% cocoa!!"
After dinner I grabbed my bar and headed to the bath tub. I was pretty excited that it was my time to "melt" and enjoy some delicious chocolate too. Well, one bite in I KNEW something wasn't right...
"HOTTT!"
Hmmm.. no wonder... the label clearly reads "rich dark chocolate, CHILIES, & nibs"
Really?!?! Chilies?! Ughh.. what sick person thought this was a good idea...
Needless to say I will NOW make sure I read the labels :)
That's all for today folks!
